How to Convert HEIC to JPG Without Installing Extra Software on Windows

Pictures that are taken with dual cameras or live photos are automatically saved in heic format on Apple devices like iphone and ipad. 1. Using Photoshop

You can't directly open a heic file in Photoshop by default. In order to import the heic files, you need to download and install Windows heic codes from the Adobe page. Both HEIF and HEVC extensions should be installed.

Once you've installed the extensions, you can open the heic image in Photoshop, select File>Save as and choose JPEG as the saving format. If you want to convert HEIC images in a batch, there's no need to do it one by one, follow the steps below:

Step 4: Back to the opened heic image in the Photoshop, select File>Save as. Choose JPEG as the output format.

Step 7: In the Batch wizard, choose the source image folder and destination folder for your files and click OK.

Afterwards, all the heic files will be opened in Photoshop and automatically saved as jpg files.

2. Using free online tool
