“I would like to update my computer’s operating system from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and I was asked to select a Partition Style from either MBR or GPT. The question is that I don’t even know what partition style is, how would I know whether it’s MBR or GPT?”

1. Press Windows Key + R and type diskmgmt.msc in the box, and then press Enter.

2. Right-click Disk 0 or any other disk you wanna check, and click properties.

3. Select the Volumes tab and now you can see its Partition style. Mine is MBR.
